Business Success Oil

In another lifetime I owned a business that was fairly successful. I made handcrafted soaps and toiletries, and it assured an income that would carry me through the winter months when there were no horses to train. I absolutely loved creating incredible products both magickal and mundane that my customers loved. Sadly, when I met my husband and we became a mobile family, my business had to come to a close as it wasn’t feasible to move an entire studio of raw supplies around the country.

While I contribute my success to fantastic products, I also am not adverse to giving sales a boost. At art festivals I always hung an amulet of cinnamon and green ribbon at the entrance to my space; my cash box was anointed with a sumptuous blend of money-generating essential oils; I wore the same oil as a personal fragrance while doing business.

Thinking of opening your own business? Seriously….I recommend this (currently I wear it whenever I am doing to business plan and planning; yes, I actually wear this when I’m in the shop doing business for the day).

  • 6 drops Bergamot Essential Oil (get bergaptene free bergamot oil — and ONLY bergaptene free oil — because bergamot inherently contains a natural chemical that creates photosensitization when used…which is totally not cool. You can find quality begaptene free essential oil here.)
  • 2 drops Basil Essential Oil
  • 2 drops Patchouli Essential Oil
  • 1 drop Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil

When I use this for candles in business success or money spells, I directly anoint the taper itself (usually green). To use as a ritual perfume oil, or as an oil in which I anoint my cashbox, I blend the essential oils in a tablespoon or two of a carrier oil. My preference is jojoba, as it has a longer shelf life than most oils. If you’re unable to obtain jojoba, sunflower and avocado work just as well.

Blessings from the Hearth.
