Chant To Seal A Spell

I found this particular binding chant on a scrap of paper in one of my grimoires.  It’s not in my handwriting, so I assume it’s something that was given to me in the early 2000’s, as it was in a book I had filled between 2000 – 2007.  It must be Wiccan-esque in origin because I don’t use the phrase “So Mote It Be”.  Nonetheless, I rather like it.

Earth, Air, Fire, and Water

By the Dawn of the East

The Twilight of the West

The Black Midnight of the North

The High Noon of the South

By Yew, Hawthorn, and Rowan

By the Law of Knowledge

By the Law of True Falsehoods

The Law of Balance

So Mote It Be

Use this as a jumping point to create your own binding words to set a spell.

Blessings from the Hearth.
